How to Remove the "Revenge couldn't update" Warning
When Discord pushes a breaking client manifest update or when network routing to update hosts fails, a persistent warning may appear stating "Revenge couldn't update".
Follow these steps to bypass the network lock:
- Download a reputable VPN: Install a reliable VPN service such as ProtonVPN.
- Connect to a different region: Open the VPN client and connect to a server outside your current home country. United Kingdom (UK), France, and the United States (US) are consistently the most reliable nodes.
- Relaunch Revenge: Once the VPN connection is verified active, open Revenge. The update check will query the CDN without regional blocks and initialize normally.
